Board reorganizes, approves housing element ahead of deadline

NJ JEFFERSON — Jefferson Land Use Board reorganizes and approves Housing Element and Fair Share Plan. The board voted 7-1-1 to approve the Housing Element & Fair Share Plan, meeting the March 15 state deadline for adoption. Board member Mr.

Deutsch opposed; Mr. Galfo abstained. The board unanimously determined that Ordinance #26-04 implements affordable housing inclusionary zones and Ordinance #26-05 replaces the Development Fees chapter with a new Affordable Housing chapter, both consistent with the Master Plan.

Professional appointments included Glenn Kienz (Weiner Law Group LLP) as Board Attorney, Jessica Caldwell (J. Caldwell & Associates) as Board Planner, and Richard Schommer (H2M) as Board Engineer, all unanimous.
